Requirements

  • Five years of bookkeeping experience; and 15 college credits in accounting; or One year as a Fiscal Technician and 15 college credits in accounting; or One year of professional accounting experience and graduation from a four year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Submission of criminal history reports (conditional offer).
  • Drug screening (conditional offer).

Responsibilities

  • Manage Joinder revenues and expenses by preparing regular financial reports for program fiscal officers
  • Coordinate bi-weekly payroll tasks including deposits, taxes, and required forms
  • Manage Joinder bank accounts and maintain shared accounting software systems
  • Serve as the contact for the annual audit and assemble reports and documentation required for compliance
  • Reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger and calculate quarterly depreciation
  • Monitor due to and due from accounts to ensure proper cross charging among agencies
