The Accountant 1, Fund Accounting role is within the Client Services department in India. The primary objective is to provide timely and high-quality service and deliverables to leading private equity and funds clients under the guidance of supervisors. This role focuses on the preparation of core processes, handling less complex ad hoc work, and meeting minimal client requirements. The position involves self-review of core processes to identify strengths and areas for development. Key responsibilities include the preparation and completion of Net Asset Value (NAV) and Financials for private equity funds, which encompasses recording journal entries, preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices, and various client reporting. Additionally, the role is responsible for preparing capital call and distribution workings, along with associated notices and releases to investors. The Accountant 1 will also assist in converting Private Equity Funds from other accounting applications to Investran and onboarding new Private Equity Funds onto the accounting platform (Investran, Paxus). This includes supporting all reporting requirements such as financial statements, working papers/management accounts, partner statements, and ad-hoc client deliverables. The role requires adherence to IQ-EQ India Global Client Delivery's policies and procedures for all accounting and administration processes.
