About The Position

Account Strategist (Paid Media Preferred) Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Support Serve as a day-to-day client contact, managing routine communication, follow-ups, and requests with minimal oversight Build strong working relationships through consistent, reliable execution and communication Lead portions of client meetings (status updates, reporting walk-throughs) with support from senior team members Ensure all client deliverables and requests are clearly communicated and followed through, even as priorities shift Account & Project Ownership Own execution of project timelines, deliverables, and workflows across assigned workstreams Maintain and update key account documents (status reports, trackers, timelines) with accuracy Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring deadlines are met in dynamic environments Proactively identify risks to timelines or deliverables and escalate when needed Support budget and scope tracking at a project level Support tasks and project timelines in project management software (ClickUp) Performance & Strategic Support Begin to connect performance results to campaign strategy and client goals Contribute to building reports and presentations, including drafting insights and recommendations Partner with media and analytics teams to ensure data is accurate and actionable Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with media, creative, and analytics teams to ensure aligned execution across channels Develop project, creative, and media briefs with increasing independence Communicate client feedback clearly and ensure it is reflected in deliverables Help ensure internal teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and expectations Bring organization and clarity across teams when multiple inputs, timelines, or priorities are in play Quality Assurance & Execution Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with strategy Ensure feedback and updates are implemented correctly and efficiently Take ownership of assigned workstreams and ensure high-quality output Maintain attention to detail while managing a high volume of deliverables and timelines Growth & Development Continue developing a stronger understanding of marketing strategy, performance metrics, and paid media channels Demonstrate ability to “connect the dots” between execution and outcomes Take initiative in identifying improvements and contributing ideas to the team Actively seek feedback and apply it to improve performance and impact What Success Looks Like in This Role You can manage day-to-day account needs independently with minimal oversight You bring structure and organization to complex or evolving projects Deliverables are consistently on time, accurate, and well-coordinated You contribute to performance insights and recommendations, not just reporting You are beginning to think strategically, understanding the “why” behind the work Clients and internal teams see you as a reliable and steady partner, even during busy or shifting periods

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, marketing, or related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to stay organized and effective in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify meaningful insights (with guidance)
  • Working knowledge of marketing KPIs and performance drivers
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for assigned work
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a calm, problem-solving approach under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Agency experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of paid media (search, social, programmatic, traditional) preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-channel campaigns and client relationships
