UCT is looking for a talented Account Manager I to join us in Hillsboro, OR! The Account Specialist supports key client relationships by serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role partners closely with the Strategic Accounts team to understand client needs, resolve inquiries, and maintain long-term satisfaction. It collaborates across sales, marketing, engineering, and other functions to coordinate solutions, strengthen retention, and stay informed on market trends that impact client success.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to draw insights from performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • The capability to identify and address issues or challenges faced by clients proactively.
  • The capacity to adapt to changes in the market, company priorities, or client needs.
  • A willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Global Shop Solutions (GSS) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering /equivalent or equivalent work experience.
  • Broad industry vertical experience (more than parts cleaning)
  • +5 years’ previous experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients by understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, engineering, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Work to retain existing clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns or challenges proactively.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, and market dynamics that could impact clients or their industries.
