About The Position

A critical step for Edlong to accelerate growth is to function as a dynamic global Customer Experience discipline, whereby Edlong customers, large and small, domestic, and international, are delighted with every interaction with us. Reporting directly to Edlong’s Customer Experience Director, the Account Services Support Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Customer Experience team on providing comprehensive customer service to customers and potential clients throughout various projects. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience to support Edlong’s achievement towards sales goals. They must also be adaptable and possess a strong commitment to effective communication, ensuring high customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be a current or recently graduated student with a degree looking to gain experience.
  • Applicants should have data entry experience, preferably working in process manufacturing in either food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical.
  • Applicants should have administrative experience supporting documentation requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend written, electronic, and spoken instructions, memos, and correspondence, and to communicate professionally in English both verbally by phone and electronically.
  • Ability to actively listen to customer needs and respond with appropriate product proposals to meet demands.
  • Ability to compute in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform mathematical operations using various units of money, weight, volume and distance.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams to define and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and ERP are a plus for applicants.
  • Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are a plus for applicants.
  • CRM and ERP tools and internal business software (i.e., Salesforce, Plex, Adaptive, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support activities to differentiate Edlong as THE leader in customer care throughout the industry.
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls from customers, vendors, and service providers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Cultivate customer relationships while maintaining the high level of reputation and integrity of Edlong with all business transactions by responding to customer inquiries, requests, and follow-ups by e-mail or phone as needed.
  • Process customer documentation requests on multiple platforms.
  • Request certifications as required from FSQ and regulatory.
  • Send order specific Certificate of analysis on the day of shipment.
  • Upkeep and maintain Edlong personnel files and documentations pertaining to assigned work in a way that self- and team can access as needed.
  • Contribute to Edlong’s efforts, collaboration, and results by following Edlong’s guidelines, supporting departmental objectives, and aligning with the Corporate Mission, Vision, and Strategic goals.
  • Understand major business processes while effectively collaborating at all levels within the organization.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
