About The Position
We are seeking an entry-level Account Services Representative to handle inbound and outbound customer calls while supporting the collection and resolution of past-due accounts. This role focuses on delivering professional, respectful customer service while working toward one-call resolutions whenever possible.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Entry-level candidates welcome; customer service or call center experience is a plus.
- Strong phone communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, call-center environment.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills (Teams experience a plus).
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone regarding past-due balances for maintenance fees, mortgages, and other past due account related charges.
- Provide accurate account information and payment solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Use company tools such as predictive dialers, reports, and approved skip-tracing resources.
- Research accounts, document activity, and follow all federal, state, and company compliance guidelines.
- Ask effective questions, negotiate payment arrangements, and overcome objections to resolve accounts.
