About The Position

We are an independent insurance agency seeking an Insurance Processor to handle accurate, professional insurance forms and documents while supporting team members. This role works closely with Account Managers but also requires independent problem-solving and initiative.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license preferred; required within 90 days of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products a plus (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Team-oriented with initiative and ownership of responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming customer calls
  • Maintain and update client database; verify policy and account information
  • Coordinate certificate issuance (on-demand and renewals)
  • Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
  • Perform scanning, document storage, and recordkeeping
  • Maintain consistent activity and suspense logs
  • Utilize agency management systems and integrated software effectively
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
