About The Position

Majik is looking for Account Retention Specialists to join their team. This role involves building relationships, earning bonuses, and growing your career. They provide training, so prior rent-to-own experience is not required. Majik is passionate about helping employees grow and delivering great customer experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in collections, retail, or customer-focused roles preferred
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven
  • Comfortable using systems to manage accounts
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Willingness to travel locally for customer visits
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (with assistance for heavier items)

Responsibilities

  • Own customer accounts and work proactively to keep them current
  • Analyze account activity and determine appropriate solutions
  • Communicate with customers, references, and landlords
  • Collect and process payments accurately (in-store and field)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and account records
  • Manage field visits professionally and efficiently
  • Resolve customer concerns while protecting company standards
  • Meet and exceed performance goals related to collections and retention
