Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic, languages, spelling, and grammar.
  • Accuracy and correctness in matching, posting, verifying written documents, and counting.
  • Use of calculators for simple computations, photocopiers, telephone systems, typing simple documents on computer systems, FAX machines, and any other office machine requiring basic and simple knowledge and skills.
  • Equivalent to a high school education.
  • Proficiency with the telephone switchboard, Auto Dialer, computerized systems, and cash register.
  • Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Account and risk analysis.
  • Good documentation practices.
  • Training on offered products and their competition.
  • Knowledge of credit reports.
  • A car in good condition.
  • Driver's license.
  • Valid vehicle inspection sticker (Marbete).

Responsibilities

  • Focus on collecting, selling, and/or promoting financial products, offering guidance and customer service effectively to retain and acquire more clients, contributing to sales and collection goals.
  • Manage collections in the assigned territory, evaluating, visiting, and calling clients manually or using an auto-dialer.
  • Identify customer needs or those of new prospects to help them choose the financial product that best suits their needs and payment capacity.
  • Guide customers nearing the end of their loan term to renew through attractive offers to retain them.
  • Conduct field visits to validate employment.
  • Manage visits to clients with overdue or delinquent accounts of 30 days or more to bring them up to date through collection, payment plans, renewal, restructuring, or any other loss mitigation alternative in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Manage collections through customer visits, make and receive collection calls, and transfer them to the appropriate personnel if necessary.
  • Make sales through phone calls and to clients who visit the office, including following up with interested clients.
  • Complete customer application forms, follow up on approved applications, and verify credit risk and opportunities.
  • Achieve RBO (Refinance Balance Only) renewal sales or Restructuring.
  • Support the cash register.
  • Visit clients or their references, as assigned, for collection management following procedures.
  • Process files, references, and courtesy or collection calls to clients with overdue or delinquent accounts.
  • Complete daily visit reports and enter all results of each action taken into the Oracle system.
  • Review performance and follow-up reports.
  • Process payments received in the field or loan disbursements.
  • Prepare payment booklets.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
