About The Position

Ingram Micro is making a significant investment in its SMB (Small & Medium Business) segment and is expanding its team to support that growth. As part of this initiative, they are hiring 20+ Account Representatives to help drive momentum and capture new opportunities across their reseller base. This is a high-energy, customer-facing role where you will own and grow a portfolio of accounts, drive revenue, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as a trusted partner and escalation point for customers, helping them succeed while making a direct impact on the business. This role is designed as a launchpad into a long-term sales career, with opportunities to grow into senior sales, account management, or business development roles. You will gain hands-on experience, build valuable relationships, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a high-impact sales environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience (any industry) OR 1+ year of experience in technology, distribution, or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proactive, resilient, and action-oriented
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to influence and persuade customers and partners
  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver results
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams
  • Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of approximately 125 reseller accounts (mix of new and established)
  • Build strong relationships and act as a primary point of contact and escalation
  • Spot and act on opportunities to increase revenue, margin, and product adoption
  • Drive day-to-day sales activity including quoting, follow-ups, and closing opportunities
  • Proactively engage customers to uncover new business needs and position solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to drive results
  • Prioritize effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Set clear expectations and follow through with urgency and accuracy
