About The Position

The Account Representative is responsible for implementing sales and service strategies for our restaurant by-product collection service in their assigned territory, covering an hour plus radius of Des Moines. This individual plays a critical role in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities to increase Sanimax's competitive advantage, improve customer satisfaction and enhance the company's reputation in the marketplace. Sanimax reclaims used cooking oil, meat & organic by-products from the agri-food industry, then transform them into industrial ingredients that will be used to manufacture everyday items. Requirements

  • Previous sales experience obtaining new business
  • Comfortable cold calling
  • Capacity to manage time effectively and set priorities
  • Able to understand the needs and stresses of the restaurant and food industry
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Maintain sustained growth by identifying new prospects and growing existing clients
  • Build relationships with restaurant and grocery store owners and enhance relationships with these customers
  • Take responsibility for margin and volume for your assigned territory
  • Create innovative customer service initiatives to increase customer satisfaction
  • Visit customer locations to better understand their business needs.
