About The Position

The Account Representative – Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships across the Wireline & Perforating portfolio. This role combines technical understanding of subsurface evaluation and perforating services with strong commercial execution to identify opportunities, position value-based solutions, and deliver profitable growth. The position partners closely with operations, engineering, and product teams to align Halliburton capabilities with customer needs and well objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles within oil & gas.
  • Strong understanding of wireline, logging, perforating, or well intervention operations.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence customer decisions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and deliver revenue growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Wireline & Perforating or related subsurface services.
  • Proven track record managing accounts with $5M–$50M revenue scope.
  • Experience with performance-based contracts or value-based selling.
  • Exposure to multi-PSL or integrated service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue and increase market share within assigned and target accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Identify customer technical and commercial needs related to formation evaluation, logging, and perforating services.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations and proposals, clearly articulating value and performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor positioning to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead or support commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract development.
  • Drive pipeline development, forecasting, and sales planning activities.
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational execution.
  • Represent Halliburton in customer meetings, field visits, and industry events.
  • Contribute to business planning, including revenue targets, growth strategies, and account development plans.
