About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting supervisor(s) with daily activities and projects performing a variety of clerical duties. The role involves processing claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid patient and insurance balances. It also includes accessing and correcting demographic, insurance, and financial information, and performing accurate account maintenance and documentation. The position is part of the VIS Collections & Follow Up team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
