About The Position

This role involves checking in vehicles, accurately inputting vehicle information using a handheld computer, affixing barcode/stock number stickers, placing work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles, directing transporters, and parking vehicles in designated zones. The position also requires cultivating strong client relationships through proactive engagement and personalized communication, utilizing industry insights and product knowledge to provide guidance, and demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience vehicle reconditioning and or general auto body knowledge
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written skills preferred.
• Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checking in vehicles and input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld computer (Portable Terminal – PT)
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Park vehicles to designated run number
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients through proactive engagement, personalized communication, and tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Utilize industry insights and product knowledge to provide valuable guidance and recommendations, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction and long-term partnership
