Account Manager

ENNOVINorthvale, NJ
$0 - $115,000

About The Position

The OCP Division of ENNOVI is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth and momentum within an established portfolio of OEM accounts and to take full ownership of new accounts handed off from Business Development. OCP designs and manufactures custom cable assemblies, medical interconnects, and related engineered products for medical device customers. This is a relationship-driven, quota-carrying role focused on expansion, retention, and deepening share-of-wallet within existing customers — not net-new logo prospecting (owned by Business Development) and not order processing (owned by Customer Service).

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical B2B account management in medical device/non-medical, interconnect/cable assembly, contract manufacturing, or a closely adjacent regulated manufacturing environment.
  • A verifiable record of growing and retaining an existing book — expansion, share-of-wallet gains, and multi-year account development, not primarily new-logo hunting.
  • Proven relationship management in complex accounts at engineering, procurement, and quality levels.
  • Fluency in BOM-driven, RFQ-based selling and the economics of custom-manufactured product — able to read a BOM and defend price on substance.
  • Proven margin and price-increase execution within an account base, including holding firm under procurement pressure.
  • Self-directed account planning and execution — manages the book without being managed into the activity; brings their own method.
  • MedTech OEM familiarity strongly preferred — medical device buyers, quality expectations, and the qualification/validation cadence that shapes program timing.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as the book requires.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the existing book. Drive organic growth within current accounts — upsell, cross-sell, and new programs at customers OCP already serves; expand share-of-wallet account by account.
  • Defend and retain. Protect existing revenue against erosion, displacement, and price pressure; keep OCP designed-in and preferred.
  • Own the BD handoff. Take ownership of accounts at the point of handoff — onboard cleanly, build the relationship map, and convert the initial win into a durable, growing account.
  • Build deep relationships. Establish senior, multi-stakeholder relationships across customer engineering, procurement, quality, and supply chain; become the trusted commercial point of contact.
  • Run account planning and QBRs. Maintain structured account plans and a quarterly business-review cadence; surface and pursue growth opportunities within the base.
  • Own pricing and margin. Manage pricing within the book and execute scheduled price increases on time and in full; defend margin rather than discounting to retain.
  • Own the commercial side of quotes. Drive RFQ and quote strategy for existing accounts — scope, positioning, terms, win plan — partnering with Customer Service for package preparation and Engineering/Costing for technical inputs.
  • Forecast with discipline. Maintain accurate pipeline and revenue forecasts for the book and represent it credibly in S&OP.
  • Orchestrate, don’t absorb. Coordinate Customer Service, Engineering, and Operations on the customer’s behalf without taking on their transactional workload.
