About The Position

CSI Services is seeking a full-time Account Manager to drive revenue growth, gross margin performance, and market expansion within the commercial and industrial boiler and HVAC mechanical contracting market. This role involves owning and growing assigned customer accounts by expanding share of wallet, increasing service and project penetration, and developing long-term customer relationships. The Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering comprehensive solutions including equipment sales, service agreements, installation projects, and aftermarket support. This individual will serve as a key external representative of CSI Services, collaborating closely with customers, office staff, operations, and service teams to deliver value-driven solutions. HVAC and Boiler sales experience is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC, boiler systems, or related industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and margin targets.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and contracts.
  • Ability to write proposals and professional correspondence.
  • Ability to present effectively to customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to calculate margins, pricing, and cost estimates.
  • Understanding of basic financial and sales metrics.
  • Ability to develop solutions to customer problems involving multiple variables.
  • Strong decision-making in sales and project situations.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Experience with ERP systems and quoting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with company policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or related field).
  • Experience with equipment sales, service sales, and/or project-based contracting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline across target industries (commercial, industrial, institutional).
  • Achieve assigned revenue, gross margin, and account growth targets within defined accounts and/or territory.
  • Identify customer needs and position CSI Services solutions including boilers, HVAC systems, rentals, service, and turnkey mechanical projects.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through project close.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, contractors, engineers, and facility owners.
  • Own and grow assigned accounts by expanding relationships, increasing share of wallet, and identifying additional service and project opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in coordination with internal teams.
  • Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop accurate and competitive solutions.
  • Support project handoff to operations and remain engaged through execution as needed.
  • Conduct site visits, job walks, and customer consultations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the boiler and mechanical contracting space.
  • Support development of pricing strategies and value propositions.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Track key performance metrics including bookings, revenue, and margin.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes and tools.
