About The Position

BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions is seeking an energetic and ambitious entry-level Account Manager to join their Calgary-based Sales team. This role will support a growing customer base across Southern Alberta, with regular travel to Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Crow’s Nest Pass. The company has over 50 years of experience in providing air filtration services and is looking for individuals passionate about delivering clean, healthy indoor air. This is an opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales, with no prior formal sales experience required. BGE will provide training and tools to help the successful candidate thrive.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. retail, trades, hospitality, construction, or technical support)
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and comfortable with regular regional travel.
  • A self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Interest in building a career in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn about customer needs and technical solutions.
  • Initiative and a results-driven mindset.
  • Comfort operating independently in the field.
  • Ability to problem-solve and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Seek out and maintain accounts within the territory through business development.
  • Build and manage relationships with both existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer operations, identify pain points, and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Development teams.
  • Develop and execute account plans to work toward sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Conduct site airchecks and inspections, including walkthroughs and participating in operations meetings.
  • Provide recommendations based on observations and data.
