About The Position

Owns day-to-day management of assigned key accounts end-to-end. Drives budget achievement, pricing within authority, independently executes purchasing and supply chain, inventory analysis, AR/credit performance, and monthly GP insight. This role requires achievement in a fast-paced environment and strong computer proficiency with spreadsheets and common business applications. Exceptional relationship-building skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication are essential.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in automotive account management, sales operations, or supply chain.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and margin analysis; ERP, EDI, and CRM proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel; BI exposure (Power BI/Tableau) a plus; knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics.
  • Hazmat/IATA/IMDG awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end‑to‑end sales order execution and JIT delivery to achieve on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) targets; ensures accurate ASNs/EDI and proactive shipment status communication.
  • Analyzes raw materials to forecast; reconciles supply to demand; sustains agreed safety‑stock and lead‑time parameters; troubleshoots shortages and excess inventory.
  • Analyze monthly sales and gross profit vs budget/quoted; define and execute gap-closure actions.
  • Drive AR collections to 0 over 30 days; monitor credit limits; prepare or update credit applications.
  • Monitor inventory aging to 0 over 120 days; initiate actions for slow/non-moving stock.
  • Leverages Native Rock and Oracle functionality to optimize workflows; proactively adopts new features and mentors’ colleagues on best practices to enhance accuracy, speed, and control.
  • Manages RFQ intake and quotation development; constructs cost ‑ ups and pricing scenarios that align with margin guidelines; delivers quotes within agreed cycle times.
  • Maintains accurate item, customer, pricing, and lead ‑ time data; executes approved price updates on schedule with zero defects.
  • Leads customer meetings; supports internal and external audits; ensures complete, current documentation for HTS, anti‑dumping, conflict minerals, and IMDS.
  • Maintains ownership of customer budgeting and monthly sales/gross ‑ profit reporting; analyzes variances, communicates insights, and drives corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Supports Quality resolution and coordinates PPAP document routing; resolves routine pricing discrepancies with customers and suppliers; supports AR collections to target.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
