About The Position

In this role, the candidate will be assigned specific tasks on accounts within an existing territory to retain, per direction from manager and communicate with customer base as well as ChemTreat Account Managers and other representatives of the company. With guidance, the candidate will create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat’s position and increase share within the assigned geography. The candidate will begin to develop key relationships with customers through various methods, including identifying key decision makers, researching prospects, partnering with senior staff for cold calls, frequent follow-up, learning and implementing strategic questioning, and driving to root issues to identify customer needs. The role involves working with senior staff to increase sales and profit margin within the territory and engaging technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies. The candidate will also begin to establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Supplemental responsibilities include learning to create effective proposals, communicating the ChemTreat value proposition, troubleshooting technical and site-specific process issues, auditing key unit operations, and participating in customer entertainment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree required or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Self-management.
  • Self-motivated with a strategic mindset.
  • Balance of self-confidence and humility.
  • Ability to be a team player and partner well with others.
  • Required ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (emails, comprehensive service reports, proposals, etc.).
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Experience in water treatment preferred.

Responsibilities
