About The Position

Account Managers are responsible for the day-to-day campaign delivery, ensuring work moves proactively, clients stay informed, and campaigns are delivered on time and on budget. They are detail-oriented, self-starters, and solution-focused, with a strong understanding of their clients' businesses and an eye for identifying creators, trends, and industry updates that could impact them. They manage multiple projects simultaneously and are responsible for the smooth execution of creator marketing programs, offering expertise in the social media and influencer/creator space, staying current with market trends, the creator network, and compliance. They ensure creator executions align with the agency's approach and performance metrics, acting as positive representatives of the agency and building strong relationships with clients and creators.

Requirements

  • Being a chief negotiator, working with Senior Account Executives/Account Executives to secure the best rates in line with budgets, deliverables, and contract terms to drive agency profitability and ensure agency security.
  • Bringing fresh & unique stimulus to the team helping inform briefs and drive the work forward.
  • Acting as a creative guardian, reviewing and confidently providing feedback on creative (creative team/Influencers) to check alignment with a client brief and campaign objectives to ensure effectiveness.
  • Setting examples for seeking out opportunity, finding potential, and positivity, and creating a culture where people come together.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships by being the go-to person across all parts of the process.
  • Curiosity about the industry & beyond, technology, consumers, culture, the client & products.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the functionality of social platforms, formats, and the latest trends.
  • Sharing knowledge and thought leadership relevant to specific clients and the industry at large for individual and agency growth.

  • Leading the identification or casting, outreach, and management of relationships with influencers (creators) and ambassadors.
  • Providing recommendations and rationale to sell through with clients.
  • Negotiating rates and contract terms with Account Executives to secure best rates within budgets and deliverables, ensuring agency profitability and security.
  • Ensuring thorough influencer due diligence and data authenticity, flagging any issues and recommendations to the client.
  • Recruiting relevant influencers for campaigns and managing content creation through to publication, ensuring alignment with brief and client goals.
  • Organizing and executing influencer agreements with approval from the Account Director.
  • Acting as a main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships, and managing expectations.
  • Being solution-focused, making recommendations, flagging risks, and addressing talent troubles and client concerns.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the client's business, commercial performance, and competitors, immersing in the client's sector.
  • Supporting inter-agency teams and external agency partners to create seamless and productive relationships.
  • Meeting with clients regularly to understand their work.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of accounts and driving the process on small to midsize campaigns, including strategy, creative ideation, influencer management, production, and reporting.
  • Contributing to ideation with creative teams and clients, and translating client feedback accurately to brief creatives.
  • Setting agendas, leading status meetings, and ensuring accurate contact reports are sent.
  • Feeding into project management plan requirements on project resources and internal timings, anticipating next steps.
  • Writing creative influencer briefs aligned with creative ideas and best practices, gaining client and legal team sign-off.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on creative content to ensure alignment with client brief and campaign objectives.
  • Quality controlling all creative content against guidelines and AD disclosures.
  • Managing the distribution strategy of content, including content calendars, to optimize performance.
  • Building post-campaign reports (PCAs) with objectives, accurate data, and analysis, sharing learnings and recommendations.
  • Seeking client written approval throughout the campaign process.
  • Maintaining organization and attention to detail, keeping the project manager informed of timing issues, planning for delays, and documenting actions and progress.
  • Liaising with the project manager on financial aspects of campaigns, from talent budgeting to reconciliation.
  • Checking influencer contracts and costs are approved before work commences.
  • Keeping Companion, project trackers, and third-party expenses up to date.
  • Driving accurate time reporting and flagging any risk to scope.
  • Providing regular feedback opportunities through wash-ups and influencer feedback forms.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff members, supporting their integration into the agency, and championing good work.
  • Building internal relationships and understanding each department's remit.
  • Managing upwards by keeping senior team members informed of campaign status and performance.
  • Bringing fresh and unique stimulus to the team to inform briefs and drive work forward.
