McKesson is looking for a driven, customer-focused Ambulatory Care Account Executive to join our high-performing field sales team. Because this is a field-based role, we’re looking for candidates who live in Reno, NV or nearby . This ensures efficient travel within the territory and strong relationships with local customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • A valid driver’s license and a clear driving record are required.
  • As part of the background screening process, a 7-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted.
  • Employment is contingent upon meeting McKesson’s driving eligibility standards.
  • Experience managing a large product portfolio (many SKUs)
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Strong collaboration skills in a team-based selling environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within the territory (day travel only)
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Own a specified Nevada territory and be responsible for driving sales of medical products and services to ambulatory care providers.
  • Work directly with customers, uncover their needs, and deliver solutions that improve patient care and practice efficiency.
  • Building and growing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed gross profit goals.
  • Promoting a wide range of products—from lab and surgical supplies to McKesson’s own branded solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal specialists across lab, pharmacy, and technology to deliver a full-service experience.
  • Spending the majority of your time in the field, meeting with customers face-to-face.
