About The Position
Surge Staffing is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the growth of our staffing services within an assigned territory. The Account Manager will develop, manage, and grow strategic client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand Surge Staffing’s services. This position plays a key role in driving business growth through new client acquisition, relationship management, client retention, and account expansion. The ideal candidate is a motivated relationship-builder who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of exceptional customer service, and is driven to achieve both individual and team goals.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of outside industrial sales experience
- Strong customer relationship and account management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to analyze data, build sales strategies, and close opportunities
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell industrial products, systems, and services to new and existing customers
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Research market trends and competitive activity to support sales planning
- Partner with service and operations teams to deliver customer solutions and process orders
- Support account setup, billing coordination, and collections follow-up
- Track delivery commitments and ensure timely execution of customer orders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen account performance and service delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
