About The Position

Binyod LLC is seeking a technically minded and relationship-driven Account Manager to support the growth of our Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety & Security) business. This hybrid role combines new business development with long-term account management. The AM will serve as the primary client contact, coordinate closely with technical teams, and help clients navigate technology solutions from discovery through project completion. The ideal candidate understands consultative sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively bridge customer needs with technical delivery teams. Primary Markets include K–12 school districts, Charter school systems, Public institutions, and Commercial low-voltage projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience - Div 27, Div 28
  • Experience in technology integration, construction, low-voltage, or managed services preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
  • Experience using CRM systems and proposal software
  • Ability to read blueprints and site plans preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with K–12 schools or public-sector clients
  • Technical sales or sales engineering background
  • Understanding of structured cabling, AV, security, or networking systems
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan
  • Identify and prospect new clients within assigned markets
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Conduct discovery meetings and site assessments
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop practical solutions
  • Present solutions aligned with operational and budget goals
  • Coordinate proposals, quotes, and RFP responses
  • Manage revisions, negotiations, and project scoping
  • Ensure alignment with internal profitability targets
  • Guide customers through procurement and approvals
  • Secure purchase orders and signed agreements
  • Ensure smooth handoff to operations and implementation teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Maintain CRM records, communications, and project updates
  • Conduct regular account reviews and customer check-ins
  • Identify upsell, renewal, and service opportunities
  • Support issue resolution and customer satisfaction efforts
  • Monitor project progress from a customer-facing perspective
  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams
  • Escalate risks or issues proactively
  • Build long-term trusted relationships
  • Promote service contracts and recurring business opportunities
  • Gather feedback for operational improvement
