About The Position

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding strong relationships with C-suite level executives, student groups, and other influencers/decision-makers in strategically important large accounts within Colorado and Utah. These accounts include colleges, universities, technical or vocational schools, network partners, community-based organizations and coalitions, corporations, and Service sectors like police and fire academies. The AM will position the NMDP Mission for optimal access and partnership within preferred donor segments, develop deep donor insights to drive growth and loyalty, and coordinate all activities within their territory to recruit potential donors to the registry.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of strategic account selling and planning.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, with Excel skills.

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent of related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful account management and/or sales experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be available to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategies to create access to students, employees, and key contacts within targeted accounts.
  • Executes persuasive presentations and drives focused on the member value proposition to recruit targeted audiences to the registry.
  • Develops collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leading without authority to drive alignment and coordination across member recruitment teams.
  • Provides sound business recommendations and demonstrates a keen ability to prioritize and execute on current and future opportunities, requiring marketplace intelligence, evaluation of partners’ business needs, and perspective on changing dynamics within the geography.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Cell Therapy landscape, including pathways/guidelines, and articulates the importance of NMDP partnership to donors and patients.
  • Demonstrates focused and comprehensive strategic account planning skills, developing effective business plans to enhance ethnically diverse members through well-defined strategies and tactics.
  • Monitors and tracks performance of existing initiatives and adjusts accordingly based on sound business decisions.
