About The Position

Accendra Health aims to simplify healthcare by delivering care beyond traditional settings, making essential products and services accessible throughout life. As part of the care team, teammates are crucial in providing personalized, long-term care. Through its Apria and Byram Healthcare brands, Accendra Health offers deep expertise in promoting health outside the hospital and a nationwide community presence. Account Managers are responsible for generating new revenue and increasing market share for Byram Healthcare's Wound Care, Urology, Ostomy, Incontinence, and Diabetes products within a specific geographical territory. They are also tasked with delivering high-quality service to providers and customers to ensure Byram's efficient and profitable operation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple items at once
  • Ability to handle private and confidential information securely
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the defined geographical region
  • Ability to travel up to 90%

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Healthcare and/or service sales preferred

Responsibilities

  • Achieve 100% to quota in new revenue goals and year-over-year market growth.
  • Conduct an average of 8-10 field-based sales calls daily, pre-scheduling whenever possible.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of new accounts.
  • Conduct meaningful sales calls by building relationships, uncovering needs, creating solutions, and asking for business.
  • Perform pre and post call reviews.
  • Log all sales call activity in Salesforce daily, including individual spoken to, office location and contact information, items discussed, products/services presented, competitive information, required action/follow-up, and next sales call date.
  • Focus on core business activities within a territory’s top accounts, emphasizing Quarterly Business Accounts.
  • Qualify and effectively position every account using Byram’s value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Byram’s manufacturing partners in the field to generate leads and new opportunities.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Compliance Program to meet all legal and ethical requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Operations, Reimbursement, and Managed Care to develop and execute pull-through initiatives for all referral sources within the defined territory.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on Byram service, products, and managed care contracts.
  • Properly articulate and educate healthcare professionals or referral sources on Byram's services, products, and managed care contracts.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date Territory Business Plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
