About The Position
Yellowstone Landscape is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This role involves managing commercial landscaping accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and overseeing maintenance crews. The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expertise and proposing landscape enhancements. The position requires a proactive approach to client relations and collaboration with various internal departments. Yellowstone Landscape is a large, privately-owned commercial landscaping company with opportunities for growth across the United States.
Requirements
- Landscape experience is strongly preferred.
- Plant knowledge is key.
- Ability to comfortably have conversations with people of all backgrounds.
- Ability to interact with crews, Board Presidents, and senior management/CEO.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass or related major preferred.
- Associate degree or relevant experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train and develop maintenance crews to work efficiently and safely.
- Manage teams, schedule crews, calculate and track hours, and adhere to budgets using industry technology.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, meeting with them proactively and regularly.
- Act as a consultative subject matter expert for clients.
- Design and propose enhancements to existing landscapes.
- Assist the sales team with winning new work.
- Coordinate with other departments including Irrigation, Fert/Spray, Safety and the Field Support Team to promote a seamless workflow.
