We are looking for an Account Manager in Meota, SK. You will be a self starter, that has excellent time management skills and a desire to grow your accounts. In addition, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships throughout your customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies. Requirements

• 3 -5 years of technical sales or field sales support experience is preferred but not required.
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
• Candidate must reside in Meota, SK or nearby area.
• Candidate is expected to reside within a reasonable distance from the business they support in Meota.
• No immigration sponsorship offered.
• This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.
• This role requires individual to be clean shaven to comply with customer site policy and safety requirement
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
• Previous Petrochemical experience
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
• Working knowledge of water treatment systems
• History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals
• Must be able to closely work with and support a very dynamic team of Account Managers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with current and new customers within an assigned territory/customer base.
• Understand customer business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customer organizations, including plant or facility executives.
• Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer issues, escalating as required.
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.
• Possible travel within assigned sales territory
