About The Position

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences, dedicated to delivering sustainable innovations that elevate everyday products. This role focuses on the Food Ingredients portfolio, aiming to improve nutritional profiles, taste, texture, and cost efficiency for global food and beverage manufacturers. The Account Manager position is based in North America, operating remotely with significant travel. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative, customer-driven, high-performing team, contributing to making a real impact and realizing their potential.

Requirements

  • Several years of sales and/or account management experience
  • Background in ingredients, ideally within Pet Food or Culinary markets
  • Strong knowledge of hydrocolloids, proteins, emulsifiers, and/or stabilizers
  • Proven success in account development and strategy execution
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science, or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and self-motivation

  • Direct experience selling ingredients into pet food applications

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned regional Culinary and Pet Food accounts
  • Sell IFF’s Ingredients portfolio including hydrocolloids, proteins, emulsifiers, and stabilizers
  • Deliver against sales revenue and gross profit targets
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity and project pipeline
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term commercial strategies
  • Own the end-to-end selling process from opportunity through launch
  • Serve as a trusted partner, delivering a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Applications, Operations, Finance, and Product teams
  • Provide forecast guidance and maintain opportunity updates in Salesforce
