About the Role As an Account Manager at Rex RealTrust, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of your client portfolio, from onboarding through to long-term relationship management and service optimisation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with Team Leads, Trust Accountants and Property Management Assistants to ensure clients receive a consistent, high-quality service. Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients, you will build trusted relationships, proactively identify risks and opportunities, coordinate resources across the operational teams and drive continuous improvement to ensure every client receives exceptional service. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone with extensive experience in commercial property management who enjoys partnering with clients, improving processes and helping teams deliver outstanding outcomes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commercial property management experience using Cirrus8.
  • Proven experience in both Commercial Property Management and Trust Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property operations, trust accounting processes and industry legislation.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence leading client meetings, presentations and training sessions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and client portfolios.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into Rex RealTrust systems and processes.
  • Understand each client's existing workflows and align them with Rex RealTrust best practice.
  • Partner with Trust Accountants and Property Management Assistants throughout the onboarding period to establish strong operational foundations.
  • Ensure clients are confident and supported throughout implementation.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for your assigned client portfolio.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, progressing from onboarding check-ins to ongoing relationship reviews.
  • Visit clients where appropriate to strengthen relationships and understand their operational needs.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns.
  • Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews that demonstrate value and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Team Leads to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and escalate operational risks where required.
  • Partner with the Training Manager to identify capability gaps and recommend training initiatives.
  • Deliver occasional client or internal training sessions where appropriate.
  • Coordinate workload and portfolio allocation across Team Leads, Trust Accountants and Property Management Assistants to ensure balanced resourcing.
  • Facilitate regular operational meetings to monitor performance, service delivery and team effectiveness.
  • Act as the voice of the client within the business.
  • Identify trends, risks and recurring issues, ensuring they are escalated appropriately.
  • Provide regular reporting on client health, service performance and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both the client experience and operational efficiency.
