About The Position

OutSystems is seeking a high-performing, "hunter-closer" Account Manager to join our newly formed Churn Prevention Team. This is a high-visibility, strategic role centered on a "turnaround mandate" to recover, stabilize, and eventually grow our most at-risk enterprise accounts. This role will be part of a dedicated cross-functional squad including a Solutions Architect and Customer Success Managers, with a direct line of reporting to senior sales leadership.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in complex SaaS renewal negotiations and managing distressed or at-risk accounts.
  • Ability to triage a portfolio based on risk and urgency, utilizing health scoring and adoption metrics to build account-specific save plans.
  • Exceptional skills in rebuilding eroded relationships and navigating organizational complexity such as "champion loss" or shifting buying committees.
  • Ability to work frictionlessly with a dedicated Solutions Architect and existing CSMs.
  • A bias toward action and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial recovery of at-risk accounts using structured intervention playbooks.
  • Lead restructures involving pricing migrations, competitive threats, and platform rationalization due to M&A.
  • Rebuild trust and re-establish the OutSystems ROI and value proposition at the C-suite and VP level.
  • Once stabilized, you retain full ownership of the accounts to capitalize on deep relationship equity.
  • Identify new business units and use cases to drive long-term ARR expansion.
