We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. This position plays a crucial role in our relationship with customers by ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality service across all aspects of the order lifecycle.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee every aspect of a customer account, from initial order to final delivery, working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Enter sales orders the day they are received, reviewing and verifying product details, quantities, pricing, shipping address, and payment information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering order details into the system to minimize errors and prevent shipment delays.
  • Plan production orders completely, accurately, and promptly, entering and double-checking special notes for customer-specific processing, packaging, and shipping.
  • Review back-orders, order status, and open orders.
  • Investigate sales order losses and determine root cause.
  • See the order through until the end, ensuring orders are delivered to the customer correctly and on time.
  • Review aging inventory with Territory Managers and Supply Chain Analysts to find solutions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Monitor stock levels and back orders to provide accurate information on order fulfillment and delivery dates.
  • Review customer sales history to determine accurate stocking levels, looking for increases/decreases in usage and sharing information with supply chain and production.
  • Work with the Territory Manager to gather all necessary information for a customer claim.
  • Enter the NCR and track it until dispositioned by the quality department, communicating the disposition to the customer.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and acting as a point of contact for ongoing support.
  • Interact with customers to clarify order details, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and provide updates on order status.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure pricing is updated, accurate, and adheres to signed contracts.
  • Ensure that the terms and conditions of the signed contract are realized throughout the contract term (e.g., aging inventory, hedged material, volume commitments).
  • Ensure adherence to Champagne Metals' Culture, Processes, and Procedures.
