About The Position

Our Mining Group is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team and help shape the future of our mining business in Eastern Canada! This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated sales professional with mining industry experience who enjoys building strong customer relationships, solving technical challenges, and creating long-term value for customers. The territory includes many established customer relationships and significant opportunities for growth. Working alongside Quadra's experienced technical, product management, customer service, and supply chain teams, you will help customers improve performance while expanding Quadra's presence throughout Quebec, Northeast Ontario, and Nunavut. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, Science, Business, or related discipline
  • Equivalent mining industry experience with demonstrated technical knowledge of mineral processing operations
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in account management (B2B), business development, technical sales, or operations within the mining industry
  • Experience working directly at, or supporting, mining and mineral processing operations
  • Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and growing business opportunities
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and communicate value-based solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Quebec, Northeast Ontario, and Nunavut
  • Regular overnight travel required
  • Valid driver's license and passport required
  • Highly self-motivated and autonomous
  • Relationship-focused and customer-centric
  • Comfortable engaging with customers at all levels of an organization
  • An effective communicator and presenter (internally and externally)
  • Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Visible within the mining community and enthusiastic about networking and industry engagement

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred technical exposure includes: Water treatment applications, Scale control and process optimization, Flotation, Hydrometallurgy / leaching circuits, Mill and concentrator operations
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Grow Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with mine operators, metallurgists, mill personnel, procurement teams, and site leadership. Become a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and identifying opportunities for improvement. Represent Quadra professionally through regular customer visits, industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
  • Drive Business Growth: Manage and grow an established territory while identifying new customer opportunities. Develop strategic account plans that support sustainable revenue and margin growth. Prospect and convert new business opportunities through value-based selling. Negotiate and close commercial agreements while ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Deliver Technical and Commercial Value: Work collaboratively with Quadra's technical team to identify optimization opportunities within customer operations. Support customer trials, troubleshooting initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. Communicate the value of Quadra's products, services, technical expertise, and supply chain capabilities.
  • Lead Territory Management Activities: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and opportunity funnel using Salesforce CRM. Develop forecasts and support demand planning initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Participate in regular business reviews, forecasting activities, and strategic planning sessions.
