About The Position

This position is responsible for inside sales and customer service, ranging from initial quoting activities to maintaining and growing the business relationship with customers. The Account Manager will serve as the lead point of contact for all customer Account Management matters, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships to understand and support client needs. This role involves collaborative work with team members in various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Business Unit Director and Planning. The Account Manager will interface with internal personnel regarding sales order planning, forecasting, pricing, engineering/technical issues, production scheduling, and daily issues in a fast-paced sales environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and successful product delivery, proactively providing customers with delivery updates, assisting in receivable collection, communicating initiative progress, identifying and addressing customer issues, and developing/maintaining standard sales processes. Adherence to company and OSHA safety procedures is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer Account Management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to understand and support client needs

  • Interface with internal personnel regarding sales order planning, forecasting, pricing, engineering/technical issues, production scheduling, and the variety of daily issues related to a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objectives
  • Proactively provide customers with delivery updates as necessary
  • Assist in the collection of receivables as needed
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and address customer issues (theirs and ours) and escalate as needed
  • Develop, follow and maintain/improve standard sales processes
  • Follow company and OSHA safety procedures, and bring any safety observations to the attention of the management team
