Bilingual Account Manager

Pathpoint, Inc
•$159,000 - $189,000•Remote

About The Position

Pathpoint is hiring an Account Manager to own and grow a sales territory, with a primary focus on generating written premium. The Account Manager will set the territory plan, build a pipeline, develop agency relationships, and manage the path to territory goals. The role begins with established agency partners to grow and qualified high-potential agencies to prospect, rather than requiring the employee to build a distribution network from scratch. The position carries a written premium target and provides autonomy in how to achieve it. The Account Manager will be a knowledgeable E&S resource for retail agents, grow Pathpoint’s presence in the market, and collaborate with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product teams to share market feedback. Pathpoint describes its work as combining technology that automates the end-to-end process with in-house E&S expertise and guidance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in a quota-carrying or production role in commercial P&C, with E&S exposure through carriers, wholesalers, intermediaries, or retail brokerages.
  • A track record of opening new relationships from a cold start, including identifying, appointing, and growing agencies.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Direct experience in the MGA, programs, or E&S binding authority space.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle, including territory planning, prospecting, discovery, pipeline management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to lead sales conversations with principals and senior producers at retail agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and sound judgment about which to use in a given situation.
  • Internal drive to be a top performer and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • An active P&C producer license in the state of residence is strongly preferred; hires without one are expected to obtain it within six months of joining, with support and funding from Pathpoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Notion, Ascend, or Retool.
  • An active P&C producer license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales territory, including building and executing a regional plan for agency prospecting, partner growth, and premium generation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies already producing in the region; deepen relationships through appetite guidance, product education, proactive outreach, and QBRs with key agency partners.
  • Identify and qualify high-potential retail agencies through outreach, referrals, industry events, and personal networks, and move them from initial conversations to appointment and submissions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, maintain accurate opportunity information, forecast honestly, and manage sales activity.
  • Develop expert knowledge of the market, carriers, and appetite, and use product knowledge as a selling tool for agents.
  • Partner with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product to relay market feedback and help ensure appetite, products, and the customer experience meet agents’ needs.
  • Help grow Pathpoint’s footprint by appointing agencies and helping place accounts.

Benefits

  • Insurance coverage, with some plans available at no cost to the employee.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and total rewards.
  • 401(k) with a 2% bi-weekly employer match.
  • 20 days of PTO, increasing to 25 days after 2 years.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Remote-first working environment with investments in in-person collaboration.
  • Annual $500 home office stipend.
  • Monthly $75 internet stipend.
  • Generous paid parental leave.
  • Support and funding to obtain a P&C producer license, if needed.
