About The Position

Our client, a leading global e-commerce marketplace, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their growing Seller Success team. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of high-value seller accounts, acting as the primary relationship manager while helping sellers optimize performance, overcome challenges, and identify new growth opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong experience in account management, marketplace operations, or e-commerce who enjoys building relationships, solving complex business challenges, and driving measurable results.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing a portfolio of client or seller accounts.
  • Experience serving as the primary point of contact for enterprise, strategic, or high-value clients.
  • Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, or digital commerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, seller performance metrics, and platform operations.
  • Proven ability to negotiate directly with external clients, partners, or sellers.
  • Experience leading business reviews and presenting performance insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend business solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within online marketplace platforms.
  • Seller-side marketplace experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with marketplace seller tools and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of top-tier seller accounts as their dedicated point of contact.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication and strategic account management.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to analyze seller performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Identify risks impacting seller performance and develop recommendations to improve results.
  • Negotiate directly with external sellers and business partners to resolve escalations and achieve positive commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor portfolio health and provide performance reporting and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Support the onboarding of new sellers into the portfolio.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving processes, tools, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional seller experience.
