About The Position

Eagle Rock Distributing is one of Georgia's largest licensed wine and spirits wholesalers, and we're looking for an Account Manager to own the Athens and surrounding territory. This is a relationship-first role. You'll be the face of an exceptional portfolio to the bars, restaurants, and retailers who make this market tick. Whether you're coming off the floor of a great restaurant, managing a wine shop, or already carrying a bag in the beverage alcohol industry - if you're sharp, self-motivated, and genuinely love this business, we want to talk.

Requirements

  • A valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record are required. You’ll be on the road daily across your territory.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and pass a physical.

  • Hospitality Veterans – You’ve worked the floor, managed a beverage program, or run a wine department. You know how buyers think because you were one. That experience translates directly into how you build relationships and sell.

Responsibilities

  • Own Your Territory – Manage and grow a defined book of accounts across Athens area; bars, restaurants, wine shops, grocery, and package stores. Your territory is your business.
  • Build Real Relationships – Show up consistently, know your accounts inside and out, and become the rep they actually look forward to seeing. The best account managers in this industry don’t sell, they solve problems.
  • Sell & Merchandise – Secure placements, build displays, execute programming, and make sure Eagle Rock brands are well-positioned and well-represented everywhere you call on.
  • Stay Sharp on the Market – Track what’s moving, know what the competition is doing, and bring your buyers relevant insights and ideas every time you walk in the door.
  • Represent an Exceptional Portfolio – You’ll be carrying some of the most respected names in wine and spirits – and discovering new ones as we continue to grow. Product passion matters here.
  • Collaborate Internally – Partner with our operations, logistics, and marketing teams to make sure your accounts get flawless execution from order to delivery to activation.
  • Attend Industry Events – Table tastings, consumer events, producer dinners. You’ll be front and center, building your network and deepening your expertise.
