Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience selling complex products, with warehouse equipment or related industry experience preferred
  • A strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, put-away, order picking, replenishment, inventory processes, facilities management, transportation, logistics, and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships, understand capital purchasing decisions, develop and quote solutions, analyze opportunities, and successfully close equipment and allied product sales.
  • Strong communication, customer service, financial, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel less than 25%
  • Meet the role’s physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with new and existing customers, uncovering opportunities and developing solutions across new and used equipment, parts, service, and rental.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting and needs discovery through solution design, quoting, presentation, and closing while meeting market share and profitability goals.
  • Develop thoughtful territory and account plans, maintain accurate CRM records, support sales forecasting, and stay connected to customer needs, competitors, products, and market trends.
  • Represent Briggs with professionalism at customer locations, industry events, and trade shows while continually strengthening your product knowledge, industry expertise, and sales skills.
