About The Position

Work in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment supporting one of the most recognized brands in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. If you’re passionate about combat sports, fitness, or apparel—and enjoy building customer relationships—this role offers a unique opportunity to combine sales and industry expertise. The Account Manager (Sales) is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer interactions, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale and retail accounts in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. This role blends inside sales, account management, customer service, and order processing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Windows-based systems)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, account management, retail, or customer service
  • Experience in the martial arts, fitness, or sporting goods industry
  • Familiarity with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu culture, gear, or training environment
  • Some college coursework

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers via phone and email
  • Conduct outbound sales calls (including cold outreach) to generate and grow accounts
  • Process and manage customer orders using CRM and order management systems
  • Communicate product availability, pricing, promotions, and shipping timelines
  • Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Inventory, Artwork) to support product launches and promotions
  • Support custom product requests by coordinating with the Artwork/Design team
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer (VOC) by resolving complaints, order discrepancies, and service issues
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account documentation
  • Assist with retail operations as needed (customer service, returns, restocking, light warehouse support)
  • Support event-related sales coordination and inventory planning
