The successful candidate for this Account Manager role will be responsible for developing and managing account relationships to create demand for the FMC Plant Health business within the Central Saskatchewan territory, which spans from the Alberta Border to Humbolt and Saskatoon to Regina.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Western Canadian agriculture.
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships successfully.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, results-focused, and self-motivated with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support peer sales roles without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • CCA, P.Ag., or similar designation

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify areas of growth opportunity to deliver increased sales within the territory.
  • Develop and implement a robust territory sales plan aligned with territory goals.
  • Work with grower customers to understand their needs and create demand for the FMC Plant Health portfolio.
  • Build relationships with retail customers to support and grow the FMC Plant Health portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain accurate retail-level forecasts throughout the year.
  • Deliver effective presentations in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
  • Collaborate with retailers and growers to introduce new technologies and products.
  • Mentor and support plant health colleagues in driving sales within their territories.
  • Maintain safety as a top priority.
