About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking an Account Manager to join their Personal Insurance team. This role will support Account Executives with Home & Auto personal insurance, build relationships with PI Account Executives, and collaborate with team members. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, eager to enhance their skills and personal insurance knowledge, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• A valid AIC General insurance license Level 1 is mandatory
• Solid knowledge of P&C Personal insurance is required
• Strong customer focus and administrative capability, with a detail-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully, with excellent time management
• Proven analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-pace environment
• Eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment

Nice To Haves

• Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be asset
• Prior experience as an Account Manager, an asset
• Experience with Epic is a definite asset

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice, helping customers understand insurance, discussing customer concerns
• Receive and process all incoming Personal insurance paperwork
• Assist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and updating customer file information
• Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificates
• Process endorsements, invoice, and follow up on payments
• Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with adjusters on claims status
• Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications
