Requirements

Four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
Understanding of the technical and business challenges faced by this market.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong consultative selling skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong account planning skills.
Strong communication skills.
Must be a team player able to work closely with Regional Account Director and representatives from other business units.
Must be able to entertain and manage key sales relationships.
Must be able to penetrate new accounts.
A strong work ethic is essential to success.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for sales of Emerson Isolation, Pressure Management, Instrumentation and related services in the West Virginia industrial market.
Be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customer’s business and establish a value proposition that results in sales.
Act as the representative for other Emerson entities by identifying opportunities and introducing the appropriate resources necessary to complete the transaction.
Develop and deliver solutions.
Develop solid territory business plans.
Effectively cover territories on a daily basis.
Capture business through account planning and time management.
