About The Position

Speria, part of the Munters organization, provides automation, environmental control, and integrated technology solutions to create smarter, more efficient, and connected operating environments. We focus on improving operational performance, visibility, efficiency, and productivity in commercial and agricultural settings. This role is for an experienced Account Manager, Irrigation to develop, grow, and manage business opportunities in the agricultural irrigation market across the United States and Canada. It's a market-development role aimed at increasing irrigation-related revenue, strengthening dealer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the adoption of irrigation control and automation technologies. The position involves building and scaling the irrigation business by developing new customer relationships, expanding dealer networks, creating a sales pipeline, and driving territory growth. The Account Manager will manage the full sales cycle and act as a trusted advisor to growers, dealers, distributors, OEMs, consultants, contractors, and end users throughout North America.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in agricultural irrigation, water management, agricultural technology, automation systems, or a related technical sales environment.
  • Proven experience managing a sales territory and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Experience selling irrigation systems, irrigation controls, automation technologies, water management solutions, precision agriculture solutions, or related products.
  • Demonstrated success developing dealer networks, distributor relationships, and channel partnerships.
  • Strong business development and new customer acquisition experience.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and product capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage a remote territory and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to 75% throughout the United States and Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with irrigation control systems and agricultural automation platforms.
  • Experience working for irrigation equipment manufacturers, irrigation technology providers, water management companies, or agricultural automation organizations.
  • Experience selling through dealer, distributor, or OEM channels.
  • Experience with precision agriculture technologies and data-driven farming solutions.
  • Strong understanding of irrigation system design, agricultural water management, irrigation controls, and grower operations.
  • Experience conducting technical sales presentations, dealer training, and product demonstrations.
  • Background with organizations such as Netafim, Rivulis, Reinke, Valley, Lindsay, Jain Irrigation, Toro Ag, or similar irrigation technology companies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the sale of irrigation control systems, agricultural automation technologies, water management solutions, and related products.
  • Develop and execute territory plans designed to increase revenue, market share, and profitability across the United States and Canada.
  • Create new business opportunities through prospecting, customer visits, trade shows, referrals, industry networking, and channel engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, irrigation dealers, distributors, OEMs, consultants, contractors, and key end users.
  • Expand market penetration through dealer development, customer acquisition, and territory growth initiatives.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and consultative discussions focused on solving customer challenges.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Technical Support, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, closing, implementation support, and account growth.
  • Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, dealer insights, and competitive information to help shape future business strategy.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences.
