About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development and Sales, the Account Manager - Inside Sales will serve as the key liaison between our sales representatives and the operations team. In this role, you will support existing accounts while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through both inside and outside sales outreach. Responsibilities include preparing customer quotes, maintaining and updating databases, and consistently delivering exceptional customer service. Additional duties involve responding to customer inquiries, conducting customer review calls, and fulfilling other tasks assigned by the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales or operations experience in a 3PL freight forwarding environment
  • Proficiency in establishing rapport and developing solid relationships with potential leads and key customer contacts
  • Ability to ask the right questions, listen carefully and understand customers' needs
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ocean, air, ground, brokerage, or warehousing
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Knowledge of current air and ocean service offerings for transatlantic shipments to the United States
  • Travel may be required
