About The Position

We're looking for an Account Manager, Industrial Services, to own relationships with a portfolio of industrial accounts across Alabama. These include mines, power plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills and construction sites. You'll be responsible for keeping these clients, growing them and keeping them satisfied. You'll advise them on lubrication and fuel reliability programs, assess their operational needs and deliver hands-on technical service at their sites.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial account management, field service, technical sales support or a closely related role.
  • A track record of managing and growing client relationships in an industrial or B2B setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with hands-on experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
  • A solid understanding of equipment maintenance principles and best practices in industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong organization, time management and attention to detail, with a proven ability to prioritize, follow through and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, plus sound business sense.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training or coursework in mechanical systems, electrical systems, piping or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for an assigned book of industrial accounts, staying in regular, proactive touch to build client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assess client operations, equipment performance and program effectiveness, and recommend lubrication and fuel reliability solutions that fit each client.
  • Find chances to grow accounts through more products, programs or service tiers, and share them with the General Manager.
  • Resolve client concerns, service issues and technical questions on first contact wherever possible. Escalate complex matters with a documented recommendation.
  • Run structured account reviews and follow-up visits to check program performance, confirm satisfaction and complete preventative maintenance assessments.
  • Keep accurate, complete records of account activity, service visits, findings and recommendations in the CRM and service reporting systems.
  • Operate, inspect and service fuel reliability and lubrication equipment during account visits. Troubleshoot malfunctions, pump failures, and hose or fitting issues to minimize client downtime.
  • Coordinate and support installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites, including piping, plumbing fixtures, hoses and pumps.
  • Manage site-level inventory of mechanical parts and consumables, keep stock at the right levels and report replenishment needs.
  • Share customer product preferences, program feedback and new needs with the General Manager to inform commercial strategy.
  • Work with management to prioritize service schedules, allocate resources and coordinate responses to urgent customer requests.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
