About The Position

GreenShield is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all Canadians. Founded in 1957, GreenShield was the first to introduce North America's prepaid drug plan. Today, it is the only non-profit social enterprise that integrates coverage and care. The company is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing sales team as an Account Manager for Individual Insurance (MGA). This role is crucial in managing affinity partnerships, developing marketing strategies, handling advisor escalations, and fostering relationships with MGAs and advisors to promote health and dental, and travel insurance products.

Requirements

  • Experience in the Individual Health & Dental and travel insurance sector
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Sales, Marketing and Customer Service knowledge
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • A team player with established problem-solving skills
  • An eye for detail and creative thinking
  • A “people person” with confidence and agility as a presenter
  • Proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Account Management of Affinity Partnerships
  • Reporting (Quarterly and ad hoc)
  • Marketing development, planning & management
  • Advisor Escalations
  • Main day to day contact for admin & marketing for select affinity partners
  • Manage internal resources to meet timelines
  • Ownership of activity (marketing & results)
  • Develop block of MGA and Advisors
  • Manage Portfolio of MGA
  • MGA & Advisor Set Up
  • Ongoing training of advisors & follow up
  • Coordinating new opportunities
  • Assisting Advisors
  • Ad-hoc Sales reporting requests
  • Manage & maintain CRM
  • Develop and manage relationships with aligned advisors
  • Participate in client and prospect presentations including finalist meetings
  • Lead MGA Special Projects
  • Facilitate with block renewals and Health Assist
  • Advisor Portal set ups
  • NPS
  • MGA Volume Bonus Reporting
  • Coordinating MGA Communication
