About The Position

Quadra is seeking a vibrant, authentic, and driven Account Manager to join their Western Canada team. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for maintaining and developing an established territory in British Columbia, with occasional travel to Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background with a technical understanding, coupled with experience in the Supplement and/or Nutraceutical industry. The role involves regular travel within the assigned region, promoting Quadra's products and services, and developing and implementing a strategic sales plan based on industry trends and customer needs. Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the Supplements/Nutraceutical ingredients industry.
  • Proven technical sales within the Supplements/Nutraceutical ingredients industry.
  • Possess a strong background in business-to-business (B2B) sales within a distribution or manufacturing company.
  • Excellent ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment while managing tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently and proactively are critical for managing multiple tasks, identifying opportunities, and resolving challenges effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Valid driver’s license & passport.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively grow sales within the Health & Personal Care industry by identifying and securing opportunities with new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key customers, adhering to Quadra's core values and strategic vision to drive long-term partnership success.
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual sales and margin goals through effective territory management and customer engagement strategies.
  • Employ both internal and external resources to enhance Quadra’s reputation for superior service and technical excellence in the Health & Personal Care space.
  • Promote and sell Quadra’s high-quality product portfolio tailored to the Health industry, engaging customers through site visits, joint calls, and participation in industry-specific events and forums.
  • Assist customers in resolving technical challenges and identifying optimization opportunities, ensuring their operations align with industry best practices and maximize efficiency.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities to effectively manage complex schedules and priorities.
  • Exhibit strong presentation and written communication skills to convey technical and sales information effectively.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, addressing challenges with agility and resilience.
  • Manage critical timelines and handle after-hours emergencies to support customer needs.
  • Identify key decision-makers, assess their requirements, and align solutions with their goals.
  • Facilitate new business deals by coordinating customer requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless contract integration.
  • Build and sustain meaningful relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to drive repeat business and unlock new sales opportunities.
  • Proactively engage in cold calling and other lead-generation activities to expand the customer base.
  • Provide consistent, detailed weekly reporting on activities and maintain a structured approach to scheduling.
