About The Position

Expedia Group B2B connects partners across the travel industry to our leading technology, supply, and services - helping them deliver seamless travel experiences to their customers. From airlines and hotels to financial institutions and other travel platforms, we power smarter, faster, and more impactful travel solutions through the most connected marketplace in the world. This role is for an Account Manager to join our dynamic Global Partners team, focusing on Expedia's largest hotel enterprise partnerships. The ideal candidate is passionate about establishing relationships, proficient in using data to craft a story, and a self-starter willing to look for opportunities within our partnerships. This role involves supporting the Optimized Distribution program and driving chain relationships in Latin America through revenue optimization strategies, establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with key decision makers within global hotel chain partner organizations, and leading monthly B2C and B2B business analysis. The role also includes identifying high revenue opportunities, improving rate and availability competitiveness, leading troubleshooting and operational queries, and collaborating with internal EG departments to pursue commercial opportunities.

Requirements

  • A self-starter with a data-driven mindset and a track record of turning analysis into action, comfortable owning reporting end-to-end, spotting trends, and pitching ideas that move the needle on partner growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong analytical focus or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with account management, revenue management, business development and/or consulting.
  • A strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships.
  • Knowledge of the hotel industry and B2B sales landscape.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills: Demonstrate that you understand how to optimize strategies and revenue management to drive the right business. Show the ability and confidence to make informed decisions to prioritize business needs.
  • Relationship Management: You build positive external relationships to achieve desired trust and ultimately results. You can influence decision makers, think critically and embrace being a part of a team to achieve success.

  • Results-focused: You have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. You use your analytical skills and a driven curiosity to identify trends and ensuing business needs. You can develop and present insightful analysis and implement meaningful action plans based on the analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Optimized Distribution program and drive chain relationships in Latin America through revenue optimization strategies.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers within our global hotel chain partner organizations.
  • Lead monthly B2C and B2B business analysis, identifying opportunities to drive further product adoption and optimization and delivering monthly reporting.
  • Identify high revenue opportunities and make qualified recommendations to partners and EG leaders on specific markets and segments.
  • Improve rate and availability competitiveness scores to drive business success.
  • Lead troubleshooting, operational and compliance queries and improvement of B2C and B2B offering.
  • Work with our culturally diverse extended global lodging team, to drive best practice sharing and internal and external education on key opportunities.
  • Cross-collaborate with internal EG departments, including demand teams, analytics, competitive intelligence, and others to identify and pursue commercial opportunities.
