About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth for ALS Geoanalytics software products across Eastern Canada. This role owns the full sales lifecycle, including lead qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing. The position works closely with Product, Technical, and Geoconsulting teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and deliver measurable business value. The Account Executive operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and is expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, adaptability, and commercial discipline. Performance is measured through pipeline conversion, revenue growth, and sustained customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-cycle SaaS or B2B software sales.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Exposure or employment in the mining industry is very desirable.
  • Proficiency in sales pipeline management and performance tracking using CRM software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to identify and progress revenue opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS or B2B software sales with demonstrated success in revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and lead generation, preferably in software.
  • Business level in French and English.
  • Experience using CRM software (Hubspot preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a full SaaS sales cycle from initial qualification through contract execution.
  • Work with Sales Development Representatives and Business Development Representatives to manage and convert leads through the sales pipeline
  • Conduct consultative discovery discussions to understand client workflows, technical requirements, and decision drivers.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and solution presentations, coordinating support from technical and consulting teams as required.
  • Build, maintain, and advance a qualified sales pipeline aligned with regional revenue objectives.
  • Use CRM systems to track client interactions, lead progression, deal values, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to communicate customer feedback, market requirements, and competitive insights.
  • Coordinate with Geoconsulting and technical specialists during complex or technically driven sales engagements.
  • Support structured handoff to onboarding and delivery teams to ensure continuity from sale to adoption.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with prospects and clients to support renewals, expansions, and long-term relationships.
  • Monitor and improve key sales performance indicators including conversion rates, deal velocity, and customer engagement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to Geoanalytics software.
  • Other duties as assigned.
