About The Position

The Account Manager, Ecommerce Channel plays a critical role in our online growth strategy for Wholesale. This requires the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of online pure players across our fashion and optical specialist segments, while aligning with overall business objectives. The Account Manager will be able to utilize the resources of internal teams such as operations, supply chain/planning, credit and IT to provide support to accounts. They will be able to leverage merchandising and analysis skills to drive sell-in and sell-out of brands. The Account Manager will develop a strategic partnership with their portfolio accounts that delivers on objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and brand marketing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in sales, merchandising or ecommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales team to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Develop agendas and presentations for market meetings.
  • Collaborate with accounts to optimize product assortment, including NPI selection and optimization of assortment based on sell-through data
  • Partner with Ecommerce Project Manager and Brand teams to structure opportunities for expansion.
  • Support the sell-in and sell-through of brand items or collections strategic for brands.
  • Partner with accounts and marketing to identify opportunities that can deliver strong return on ad spend.
  • Work with accounts to analyze sell-through to measure impact of marketing investments.
  • Support buyers for fashion accounts with order writing to ensure consistent reorders and improve sell-through of brands.
  • Use understanding of customer and assortment strategies place pre-procurements for NPI.
  • Partner with accounts and supply chain to place procurements to ensure inventory availability through forecasting.
  • Communicates confidently, and professionally with clients and external partners. Tailors the message to each stakeholder's needs, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships that support long-term business growth.
  • Communicate with cross-functional internal teams and convey client expectations, project priorities, and deadlines to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communicates proactively with the manager, providing updates on client status, project progress, risks, and opportunities.
