About The Position

We’re a full-service independent insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support our Insurance Producers in the sales and service of Commercial Lines accounts. In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing client accounts, including new business implementation, renewals, and ongoing account support. You’ll build a deep understanding of each client’s coverage needs while navigating carrier rating programs and underwriting guidelines, and play a critical part in marketing, placing, and servicing both new and renewal business. Delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service to clients and internal partners is essential. This is a hybrid position offering both in-office and remote flexibility.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Minimum of 4 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
  • Real estate industry experience preferred
  • E&S (Excess & Surplus) lines experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365)
  • Experience with Applied Epic (required)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate industry experience preferred
  • E&S (Excess & Surplus) lines experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the renewal process, including preparing accounts and collaborating with Producers on strategy and client meetings
  • Communicate with clients and carriers via phone and written correspondence to support service needs
  • Oversee billing and assist with collections in partnership with Producers
  • Handle policy binding for renewals (as applicable) and prepare submissions for marketing
  • Process endorsements and manage premium-bearing change requests with carriers and clients
  • Address non-renewals in collaboration with Producers and clients
  • Organize and maintain master certificates, ensuring all endorsements are properly attached
  • Collect loss runs (LPRs) and manage audit-related communications, including large premium increases
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation within ImageRight and the agency management system
  • Review policy changes and coordinate updates with internal teams
  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
